During my time studying abroad in Florence, Italy, I came to realize a very sad fact - the majority of tourists never truly see what Florence has to offer. They are all too busy capturing the perfect angle for their social media; many times, the perfect angle demands a selfie. The result is that the person taking the picture never gets to see the subject matter. The tourists are so busy capturing the moment that they forget to live in the moment, and the view is so much better without a phone in the way. Hopefully, these photos will inspire you to put your phone away and live in the moment, not for it.
